- Smoke Leather, Porsche Carpet A kustom fiberglass speaker enclosure was fabricated for the rear portion of the cab. This enclosure also holds the DVD drive for the navigation system. Krist Kustoms welded up a steel "cage" (bottom picture) that bolts into the cab that provides the support needed for the heavy speaker enclosure. It also serves as the attachment points for our panels. We used our oval perforated aluminum for kustom speaker grilles and vents. The painted fiberglass overhead console splits up the headliner, so we built 2 half-size headliners. We also fabricated new, kustom 1/4 window garnish mouldings to insure a great fit. The bed received a false floor that was covered in Porsche carpet. A lexan window in the bed floor shows off the amplifiers underneath. |
